The conditions are perfect when Robert and I hit the water at 2:30 p.m. – and by 5:30 Robert has one 19” ‘er (on caddis) and I “move” a couple of little guys – guess the conditions aren’t quite perfect. No brush hatch yet. Lots of evidence of emergence. Stop at Scammell’s for a beer – Bob allows that he “caught his limit” (incl. 2 18” ‘ers). Also fell in for a swim! Thunderstorm has stained the precarious Prairie. Robert and I try down from Bob’s – nadda. Oh well…
