Heavy rain last night – we had planned to fish Pincher Creek but a look at the Crow at Coleman dissuades us – river has turned a strange shade of tan and has risen dramatically. So, we camp out at the Moose Wallow and wait to see what happens. I discover why I missed so many little guys on Friday – they’re whitefish! In fact, end up catching 5 whitefish on PMD’s. Ken keeps his hot streak going with several more large trout, including another 21” ‘er. See several other fly fisherman who have gravitated up because of water conditions. Showers all day, cool and windy – but the old reliable PMD’s show up on schedule. Note: Robert “guides” Ken to a sharper at the neck of the Moose Wallow – gives Ken 5 casts. On the 5th cash, Ken catches nice 18” ‘er on PMD. Forecast is for more rain.
