Start of annual trip to the Crow and head for the “Moose Wallow” forthwith – good hatch of PMD’s late p.m. Note river is down at least a foot from last year. Almost busted by female Fish and Wildlife Officer, but find my fishing licence in the last pocket of my vest. Miss a bunch of little guys right off the hop. I end up landing 3 smallish rainbows, Robt. nets 3 brookies, including 12” er. Camp at Chinook Lake – Ken reports good day on Burmis Lake stretch, 32 ‘ bows up to 18”. Weather has been hot, as has the fishing, according to local reports.
