Janzen’s to Carseland today; spend nite at the “Blue Lagoon” – a true dump, but only $22.00 a nite. All the action is down at the lounge, down the street - lots of partiers in this little burg. Chat with 2 drunk 17 yr. old girls at 6:00 a.m. when I let Tar out for a pee. On the river about 9:00 a.m. – starts raining pretty hard by ten, and I book it downstream (land a nice 17” bow on the way, too) – get to the weir by noon or so. Few other fisher types down in the slow water. Cold and wet.
