Bright sun, strong wind all day. Do the “best pool” on Green’s and up – not a bad p.m. considering, I hook 5 fish and land 2, both decent fish, all on San Juan Worm. Task of the day is to get Gord into a good Crowsnest Fish, and lo and behold he ultimately hooks a good fish and lands what turns out to be a 15 5/8” ‘bow on SJW! Handshakes all around and we head back to break camp. Meet Len Green and hear some great tales of cougar/bear/elk etc. He apparently knows a Norman Lee who ranches down by Gene Anderson’s Glentworth way. Quite a character. Discuss land prices - $4,000.00/acre for the 40 acre parcel I’d been looking at! Learn that little fishing shack is on a piece of abandoned road allowance! All in all a good trip with the relatives – we stay @ Blairmore Sunday night and part Monday a.m. as I head to the Court of Appeal in Calgary (to lose, as it turns out).
