Court in Rocky – arrive @ Stauffer @ 2:30, walk downstream from Buck for Wildlife for ˝ hour – go 1 for 5 in 2 hours before thunderstorm but see some big fish rising in big slow pools below the beaverdam – lose a large fish as well; again all on Green Drakes. Promising stretch, must explore further. Meet a couple guys from Calgary, nice fellows – one guy catches 9 fish for the day. They’re still bemoaning the state of the Bow, and apparently most other southern streams are still out of shape. Stauffer now 60°.
