Off to Buck Lake to meet with Pam, Tom Knott, Shannon Battle, Kent & Gail Stannard, Rick Battle, Zack and Nicole (his Hawaiian girlfriend). Everybody tries their hand at fishing for pike, perch and walleye, and combined efforts produce enough fish for breakfast. Try the float tube & deer hair mouse with no effect, pleasant, though. Kramer’s trout pond nearby is very muddy. On Sunday, stop by Prairie, still very high and unfishable. Head for Stauffer, upstream of E-W Bridge. Anderson is downstream, run into another old gent who only caught 1. I go 4 for 11 (1 worthwhile trout) on Green Drake #12, 58° water – warm & sunny.
