Can’t decide on whether to do Stauffer or Twin – finally decide the latter. It’s been warm, sunny & windy – not great fishing weather but pleasant enough. Start about 7:30 – some ok action on Despickable (black) – lose some good fish. Big hatch of tiny pale blue mayflies and pupa (midge? mayfly?) plus some huge brown caddis. Only thing that produces at all is #16 Rick’s Mink fished in surface film. Fish are gorging themselves. Later hear from Robert that Stauffer now clear, but fish still moody.
