Once again, R.S. & I meet up @ Rocky Prov. Ct. – thence off to Lloyd Graff’s stretch on Prairie – great looking pools, but pretty heavily fished by worm fishermen. Nonetheless, R goes 1 for 5, I’m 0 for 1 on some decent browns – R using Brown Wulff, me Gr. Drake Wulff. Supper @ Caroline, then to the N/S bridge on lower part of Stauffer – waiting for the Brown Drakes. By 10:00 we’ve seen all of 2 duns, and have given up on a fish rising 60’ up from the bridge. Old local guy with plain gear, son & grandson? crawls under bridge, hooks & lands a nice 15” ‘er on oversize PMD! Locals also point out a bunch of fireflies in the ditch. Cool.
Weather notes: Heavy rain in S. Alberta June 13-15, rivers high altho Robert reports Prairie is tolerable – few fish tho, he & Ken get stuck twice!
