Put in at Fort Normandeau (good launch site) at about 7:45, with John S. We find the usual complement of goldeye, John gets a few interesting misses along the banks. Gorgeous night; we’ve had a week or so of fine weather in late July; 25° high, no wind. Run into Tony Blake at his “secret hole” on the big bend down from Hwy 2.
