Robert and I spend the day on the North Ram; we arrive about 10:00 a.m. and while the river is clear and looking good, it’s a cool 42° F. The water warms up to about 53° F over the course of the day, but the fishing heats up not at all. Rober is 0 for 1, I’m 0 for 0, we see only about 6 rises all day. Quite a few other fishermen (ie. Barry Mitchell); most are using nymphs. No luck at Bridge over North Fork of Prairie Creek on the way back, but a nice stretch of water.
