Arrive at McKinnon Flats about 3:30 p.m. (after missing Highway 9, which turns into Sec. Hwy. 797, which leads right to MacKinnon – 195 kms from Red Deer). Parking lot is full – many people on the bank up and down. Hook and lose 1 fish (good one though) on SJW. Boats are the only way to go here…
