Prairie Creek! Arrive approx. 10:30 a.m. @ “Easement Pool” – miss one on my second cast. Catch and lose a good one on about the 10th cast, catch a small one a short while later; then things cool down – end up approx. 6 for 12, lose a couple of good fish – catch one on a nymph (woolyworm). Water 52° @ 11:00 a.m., up to 60° by 3:00 p.m. Not the clearest water (but still better than @ Qually’s bridge). Run into Ken Short @ Ming’s cabin on the way out. No hoppers about – the flies that work include PMD, Royal Wulff, Adams.
