Almost a replay from July 1, 1994! Despite ominous forecast, it’s a beautiful day. River is in good shape despite the floods. We land or get good hookups with about 30 fish, many in the 20” + range – best bet – sink tip line with Bow River Bugger – “keep the rod tip down!” Learn that Aroliner’s are made in St. Boniface, Man. Brian has 20 horse prop on his 16’ Gruman river sled – works OK except for bump on way back up. Great finish to the day with 5 or 6 good fish from run near where we started (old doctor’s place…) – gotta like the lower Bow!
