Been hearing some reports lately of guys getting some good numbers of brown trout on the Red Deer through town, so Pam, Tar and I head out from Hwy 2 Bridge at about 6:30. Miss a good fish (brown) along the high bank downstream, and lo and behold I actually find a riser down by RDG & CC, pull out, fire a little Royal Trude out there – 22” Brown! A few goldeye as well to fill out the evening – pleasant float…(note: biggest fish in Alta. this year)
