Mark M., John M. and I hit the water below Carseland about noon. The river is running at about 150 m3/s, but is definitely fishable, with a greenish hue and a couple of feet of visibility. It's overcast, eerily calm almost all day, and around 20 degrees. We pound streamers, and get right into it... within the first couple of hours, we're into 10 or so fish, all big, bouncy Bow River 'bows, with John netting a couple of browns (one is a big one) for good measure. BRB's and their ilk do the trick. 15+ hookups by 5:30 or so; things slow down in the later p.m.; we're home by 9:15. A good day, other than trailer bearing going kaput at Strathmore :-(
