See that spike in early July? Yeah, that was the day before we decided to fish the mighty Bow. Apparently Calgary and environs got a lotta water in a short time, resulting in the aforesaid spike. Our timing was impeccable... Anyhow, as we get our first glimpse of the river as we drive thru town, we are somewhat astounded to see a surprisingly high and kinda dirty looking river, the result of all that local rain and hail :-(
