It's our last day on Abaco; we leave for Nassau this afternoon. However, Buddy is able to get out with Bruce and I for a half day. We start early, at 7:00 a.m. Not really recommended, at least in January. The angle of the sun at sunrise is so low that it's tough spottin'. Anyhow, we give it a whirl at Crossing Rocks, and eventually we happen upon some fish. I land 3, including my biggest from the Marls (5 lbs on the Boga Grip scale), and Bruce comes verrrrry close to catching his first bonefish. We can all see the fish chasing his fly, but it just doesn't quite ever catch it. By noon we're back at the launch, and saying "Thanks and So Long" to our erstwhile guide.
