This is a couple of cow elk; Mark saw a nice bull elk nearby. We saw a fair amount of bear scat about, but no actual bruins were sighted. Rick did see a BC Conservation Officer, who checked his rig for compliance with the convoluted BC regulations. The CO apparently commented on the poor job I had done trying to pinch down the barb on Rick's streamer... sheesh.
