First day fishin' in 1999, unless I count disastrous half day puking on the high seas whilst deep sea fishing off the Dominican Republic. Robt. S. and I get out on the Kingfisher for a float from the dam to the gravel pits, approx. 4 miles. In at 12:30 p.m., off by 5:00. Lots of fellow fishermen at the dam and below. Fine sunny day; see a couple of bugs. I get one whitefish on a dynomite, lose a couple more at the powerline run.
