With Vic Bergman, same boat. Do 22X down to next bridge – only 6 miles (compared to 12 on the Castle) but seems longer. River is fairly low so some walking while guide lines boat down, little bit of whitewater in spots too. Lots of action with rising rainbows – much larger than on Castle but still only average 12-13”. Robert hooks and loses a good one. #12 Yellow Stimulator is the ticket. Later on I try streamers for Bull Trout – and lo and behold I land 5 or 6, couple good ones, 1 measured @ 19”! Vic is great rower – got the impression not too many clients fish for bull trout, even Vic seems mildly impressed.
