Back to Stauffer – fish the stretch from Jackson’s Farm to where we did the bank enhancement work earlier. Catch 5 browns, all 9” or 10”, on either #10 John’s Elk Hair or #16 Blue Winged Olive – cool, rainy day. Note – quickest way to this stretch is to walk in along the E/W fenceline starting above the trailer North of #761 bridge. Catch a fish at the very spot where I worked earlier this year! 52° water. Note also – white tail buck snorting up a storm near Jackson’s, southside of creek.
