It’s been a great August- hot, sunny, mostly calm, an Alberta summer ya gotta like. John S. and I head out about 6:30; the browns are rising when we arrive. John heads down, I cross and go up. I get a beautiful buttery 18” 3 1’2 lb’er & a feisty 13” er; first on a caddis pupa, second on #16 Tan Elk Hair Caddis. Still lotsa caddis, a few brown drake spinners! , midges, etc. John lands a 15” ‘er and breaks hook in another fish. I spot fish over in “lake” area that may have been Robert’s 26” ‘er, or a pike. Find fox den on the island, also some “nesting poles” (for Pergrines?)
