Friday is “mixed weather” – snow, sun, wind calm – the creek is low, it’s cool (4º?) but we must try nonetheless, start 1/8 mile down from Spring Creek; try glo-bug egg (maybe one hit) – switch to San Juan, and actually hook and land pretty 16” brown (@ log jam at boundary with Crown land). Spend Friday night at Short’s, it snows 3 or 4 cm overnight; I try Graf’s with San Juan for a couple of hours Saturday a.m. (it’s cold) but no luck. No rainfall to speak of so far this spring.
