It's a streamer fishin' mission, and Mark, Brian and I are on the water at about 9:30. Start out pretty well, and we boat some nice fish in the first couple of hours, along with the usual assortment of swirls, follows, short strikes and LDRs. However, at about noon, the action pretty much dies, and it's a slow streamer afternoon on this hot Sunday in August, and nymphing ain't exactly productive either. Note that the barometric pressure started dropping (albiet slightly) at about noon... hmmm. The water is about as murky as it gets for this time of year (the Highwood is still muddy). Hardly any surface activity, by either bugs or fish, but a fun day nonetheless.
