On the water from about 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm on a blustery Sunday afternoon on the first o' June. The wind is from the East, so some pretty good swells are thumping up against the aluminum hull of the ol' Grumman. Nonetheless, I manage to bring seven pike to the boat, including one largish momma; there are a couple more hits and swirls as well. Only one other boat parked at the launch, and they leave within a half hour of my arrival.
