Robert, Frank and I hit the mirrorlike surface of Sylvan Lake this evening for a few hours of flogging flies for the elusive Northern Pike. We get a few hookups, and land a couple of smaller fellas, but once again, the big mommas have lockjaw. Ah well, 'tis a beautiful sunset, and we listen to the blues on satellite radio as the sun goes down.
