Sage and I on a fine Saturday, river is running at about 950 cfs (27 m3/s). We put in at Riverbend GC at about 11:30 a.m.. Third cast and I'm into a fish. Probably a whitefish (I lose him) given that whitefish are what we do land from the first downstream pool; we get 4 or 5 on bottom-bounced single barbless hooked Mepps spinners (we're experimentin')! See some goldeye (?) rising further down, sporadic rises at that. Boat launch rough but doable.
