Sage and I hit McKinnon's at about 11:00 a.m.. We motor up above the Highwood on a pretty nice Labour Day Sunday. Water is high, but greeny clear. Lots of other vessels and folks, including a few other motors and a jet boat. I land a fine 21 incher 15-20 minutes in, a 14 incher a while later, and then another 21 incher. Get a couple more little guys on dries (ant); lose a good one on SJW. Sage lands a little one on a dry, and loses a big one on a BRB. I get them on Gartside/Geek Leech (?) ---green marabou, anyhow. Off the water at about 7:00 p.m., so in terms of bigger fish, 4 in 8 hours... all in all, a pretty typical day (for us) on the Bow.
