Old Family Photos...

This is a collection of old photographs, and scans of old family slides that I found in a shoe box at my father's house. They are generally in chronological order. Some of the earliest photos are of
my Grandmother. The other older photos are of my Father towards the end of the war in Germany, Belgium and France. I've tried to provide some descriptions on the individual photos if I know specifics.

Your something else Mr. Giannini ! Sorta kinda wish I knew you, ( and your family ) better when we were just kids. I'm thinking that in part is because I think I'm about 10 years older and my sister and brother are a bit older than I. That's nothing around our current ages, but when I was say 12 yrs old, you were about 2. Such nice work Sir !

Good job. I like looking at the old shots. I've been working on the same thing but it is slow. Scanning and then trying to get the picture presentable is time consuming.

what a great idea to preserve and share your family pictures. i'd like to do the same, how did you go from raw scan to finished, and when is it better to scan vs copying with your digital camera? thanks
