This is my father. his mother and father and three sisters around 1931. This was taken on a pig farm in Stirling, N.J. where they lived at the time. Soon after this picture was taken, his mother died and the family split up. The baby, my Aunt Mae, went to live with a family and was raised by them. My father's two sisters stayed together, and lived with a series of families. My father went to live in a series of group homes for orphaned kids. This is the only early photo I have of my father.
