TREE TOP SNOWY

Snowy Owl
Nyctea scandiaca

A Snowy Owl sits high in a tree and gazes into the setting sun. This was taken using a 300mm lens with a 1.4X extender on a Canon 50D. I wish I had a longer lens for this one, but it was really nice to see the owl.
