Demolition of a section of the elevated Gardiner Expressway just west of Leslie Street, April 2001.
Though the roadway itself was totally removed, the supporting columns and crosspieces remain standing.
They have been refinished and the rubble-covered ground was turned into a nicely groomed grass park with walking and bicycle paths.

Toyo-Field 45A 4x5 inch view camera. 135mm f5.6 Fujinon-W lens fitted with a Nikon Y52 deep yellow filter.
Ilford HP5+ film developed in PMK Pyro.

Such a well balanced composition and exposure, I love these long shadows. Your B&W presentation is exemplary. It's also good to know this has been redeveloped as a park.

Really excellent, eye catching composition. I love the lines formed by the remaining metal parts of the bridge and their shadows. ~BV~
