Digital Hand Colouring

The images shown here are from scanned black and white film negatives.

In each case the first monochrome version was digitally processed using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

The second coloured version started with a duplicate of the first and then digitally "hand-coloured" in Photoshop using only Curves adjustment layers and layer masks.

For best results please view in "original" size.
