Krung Thep ~ City of Angels

I have lived here for 3 years now and shortly, my work contract will end and I will return to Australia.
Thailand and Bangkok in particular, has become my mistress...
sometimes I love her, sometimes I do not understand her,
sometimes she annoys me...but always..
she excites me.
Over the next 4 months this gallery will grow
as I attempt to portray what she has come to mean to me.

BKK, like you I'm not sure what to make of her. The PRC seems to be better grounded, still, I like BKK, in a morbid curiosity kind of way.

Nice set of images. Especially the one of the two children. I think you've seen I'm more of a street photographer, would rather get the people then the pretty post card shots.

Winding down Ken? A great idea for a gallery, there's plenty of time left though to find your last Bangkok images. Maybe you should restrict yourself to just ten - now there is a challenge. Also do you have any of the first pictures of bangkok that you took when you first arrived? It's amazing how all those things that seemed incongrous then become the absolute norm and everyday now. I'm staying with Dale tonight but will be back in Town Thursday morning.
