Pecs, a cathedral city in southwestern Hungary, is a UNESCO World Heritage site because of it's cathedral, an historic mosque and a 1st century necropolis adjacent to the cathedral. It also has several charming Art Nouveau buildings in its center and is the home of Zsolnay Porcelain, which was a favorite material for Secession and Art Nouveau architects as well as decorating the tile roofs of the St. Stephen's cathedral in Vienna and the Matyas church in Budapest.
