Nezsmely is a small Hungarian village on the Danube between Esztergom and Bratislava. The village lies in a wine making region, but to supplement their wine income they have built a pavilion to host lunch stops for river cruise ships. The stop included a short concert by a cymbalon and violin duo, followed by a hands-on lesson in how to make strudel. The ladies teaching the lesson were jolly and everyone had fun kneading and stretching the dough, distributing the cherries and poppyseed, and rolling the resultant pastry into a long tube which was baked in special ovens near the river landing.
Before you put such lovely series of photos on the Internet, perhaps should check the spelling of the place. In this case, please note that "Neszmély" is the correct name.
