Mondello is a beachside fishing village a few miles up the coast from Palermo. This was our base location for touring western Sicily. We stayed in the beautiful Hotel La Torre and never got tired of enjoying the changing views of Monte Pelligrino across the bay. Palermo is just on the other side of Mt. Pelligrino.
