The Singapore Cenotaph is close to the entrance to the Singapore River in the park area before the old Singpaore Club. It commemorates both World War 1 and World War 2 but only contains the names of those who died during World War 1. The two World Wars are on opposite sides of the memorial and each year of the war is carved into an individual step of the memorial.
