Like many old gray beard photographers, I have boxes of slides taken over the years. Many are family and travel photos that have value because of the memories they hold. Some have a timeless quality that make them photographically interesting. I've begun to sort through those boxes looking for those treasures. Finding them is one thing, but transferring them to a digital format is quite another challenge. When it works, it's nice to have these images more accessible on the computer. My scanner isn't the best, so there's a loss of quality in the transfer.

Nevertheless, here are a few of my favorites.
