We've always been lucky in visiting the island on clear, sunny days. Our luck didn't hold out this year. Dark storm clouds swirled around all day with periods of light to heavy rainfall. Everyone settled in on street benches and in cafes and restaurants to wait out each passing rain. Those with umbrellas or rain ponchos enjoyed a rare walk in the rain on main street.
