The Au Sable River runs through town. The rotary and friends of the Au Sable River sponsor an annual river festival. This year, the festival featured exhibits with hand crafted canoes and kayaks, fly fishing lessons, hot dog stands and crafts from local artists. But the really big event is the Rubber Ducky Race. Three years ago, I won $50. Sandy and I both entered this year. Neither of our ducks won. But we had fun anyway.
