the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba
(Spanish: Mesquita- Catedral de Córdoba) was originally (about 600 AD)
a (Visigothic) Catholic Church. In 784, it was converted into a Mosque
and remained so until 1236 when it again became a Catholic Cathedral.
