Lago General Carrera is a
lake, in Patagonia, which spans the border with Argentina (it’s known
as Lago Buenos Aires on the Argentine side) and has a surface area
of 1,850 km². 970 km² of it are in Chile and 880 km² are in Argentina.
It’s maximum depth is 586 m and it’s fed by numerous Andean glaciers.
