of or connected with the eyes or vision : ocular trauma.

noun
another term for eyepiece .

DERIVATIVES
ocularly |ˈɑkjələrli| adverb

ORIGIN late 16th cent.: from late Latin ocularis, from Latin oculus ‘eye.’

This series began before and continues after I had double eye surgery. I have always had bad eyesight, being born with high myopia. It never stopped me from doing anything I've wanted. Glasses always made me feel as if there was a wall between myself and the rest of the world. Contacts lenses helped relieve this feeling. As I aged, I developed glaucoma and cataracts. While it never affected me doing photography, there were times I wondered what the world looked liked if I allowed it to control what I saw, photographing as I allowed the haze and cloudiness to take over. Surgery was imminent and in the process, I began to explore the interior/exterior illusion of the world around me.
