aircraft shown is H-37, not H-34. Appears to be off loading people, not recovering H-23

Hey guy that helicopter is a Sikorsky H-37 not a H-34. I was a crew chief on a H-19 Med evac in Germany 1959 to 1962 after I attended 675.30 single rotor utility medium, mechanics School at Fort Eustis, Va. The H-37 was actually a heavy lift air craft which later was stripped of its exterior and made into the flying crane and is still used for heavy lifting and aerial fire fighting in civilian life. This photo is mis-labeled. This is a CH-37 Mojave. At one time it was the largetst Army helicopter.
