Laos - Cotton Dyeing with Indigo - Lanten village of Ban Nam Lue, Luang Namtha
In the Lanten village of Ban Nam Lue peoplegrow their own cotton and indigo plants. The cotton gets spun and woven, then dyed with the indigo, to produce textile for the traditional Lanten dress.

hello love your work, i am trying to find someone to dye a t shirt for me with indigo. can you help me . Iam also trying to contact dyers in other countries to do the same with a view to setting up a company that markets the dyers as national treasures and gaurantees their payment as another income stream to help the tradition to continue.please excuse my premitive typing .regards christopher
