I am especially fascinated by the juxtaposition of the old and the new, like in this case. The village is fairly basic, but has electricity because it is close to the main road. But most of the work i done in traditional ways, using the old tools, planting rise, raising chickens, pigs and goats for meat, and growing vegetables in small fenced gardens. Not many 'mod cons'.

Then, in the middle of this ancient ceremony, a teenage girl amongst the spectators whips out her mobile phone and starts taking pictures.
Will they ever get printed? Doubtful. But maybe one day she too will post them on the internet to send to a relation in the USA or France.
