I am often drawn to the juxtaposition of the old and the new. The Yao village of Jhong Xa probably hasn't had electricity for more then 3 or 4 years, yet there are already numerous satellite dishes. This one is serving multiple functions, it not only receives TV signals, it also serves as clothesline, as well as drying place for meat strips and mushrooms.
