Lunar Eclipse, Winter Solstice 2010
Near total eclipse, North central Oklahoma
This was at 1:48 am central time. My exif says 2:48, but that is because
I keep forgetting to change the clock in my camera, it is still on daylight savings.
As the eclipse was starting there was a lot of haze, then we started getting small irregular clouds.
Finally, all of it lifted and the sky was very clear as the right edge of the moon got darker and darker. My sympathy goes out for all of you who had cloud cover.
It was beautiful to see.
